We’d all like to welcome our newest team member, David Goldschmidt. David will be working around his school schedule while he pursues a BA in Business and Finance at Brooklyn College. David will be heading up our marketing and PR efforts here at Tabush.

As mentioned in our Spring 2008 newsletter, I’ve found that setting Outlook to automatically separate my CC’d emails from my “direct” ones helps me keep a cleaner inbox. 

Here’s how it’s done.

By following these directions, all emails which you are CC’d or BCC’d on will be delivered to a separate folder in your Outlook. These directions are for Outlook 2007; 2003 should be very similar.

1.  From Outlook, right click on your Inbox folder and select New Folder. Name the folder CC’d Emails and click OK.
2. Go to the Tools menu and select Rules Wizard or Rules and Alerts
3. Click New Rule
4. Select Check messages when they arrive and click Next
5. Put a check mark by where my name is not in the To box and click Next
6. Put a check mark by move it to the specified folder
7. in the ‘Step 2′ box below, click the word specified and then select the newly created CC’d E-mails folder, and click Next
8. click Finish
